After the (blazing/blistering) sunset,

Above the ______ earth,

Beyond our limited reach,

Stars shine

Help with this poem!?
floundering
Reply:darkening earth relates to the sunsetting ,perhaps shadowing or dimming. these are not adjectives though .an adjective there would be ...silent earth maybe or above the green earth.the dark earth ,the jumping green sphere ,earth hahahha who knows have fun with it!
Reply:We'll I would go with blazing, cause it just sounds better, and blistering sounds ugly, and this sounds like a nice poem.

For the blank word I suggest 3 words that are all adjectives:

Duskish

Rayless

or

shadowy

I personally like duskish, this way it helps your ending of 'Stars shine'. Hope this helps!
Reply:use blazing, blistering referrs to heat

it's really up for grabs as to what to use for the adjective before "earth", you could use something like "scourched" if you want to imply that it's hot and dry or something like "beautiful" or "glorious" if you want to imply beauty and hope.
Reply:blazing

long and wonderous earth
